Mobile Learning in Atlanta
Last year, I was part of a new group formed in Atlanta called the mLearning Circle. We knew mobile learning was an up and coming platform and wanted to be ahead of the wave. To get started, we met online and brainstormed some different things we wanted to know about mobile learning. We divided these topics up among us and went out to research. At the end of a month, we met together in person to share what we each learned in a capstone event.

Earlier this year the group requested a Captivate 6 Mobile Workshop. TrainingPros partnered with Sarah Gilbert (an mLearning Circle member and TrainingPros Consultant) to put on this workshop. TrainingPros provided the location and Sarah provided the great class.
Also, TrainingPros held a contest to give away one free ticket. Our big winner was Karen Sieczka of GP Strategies!
The group also has periodic lunches to just socialize and see what’s going on. These lunches are usually in Roswell and are advertised on the LinkedIn Group.
