Consultant Appreciation Month – May 2012

I want to thank all the great consultants that work with TrainingPros. One of the ways I try to show my appreciation is by offering “Consultant Appreciation Month” each May. I wish I could give out prizes to everyone in our Talent Pool – but that would break the bank. Instead, I randomly draw names from: working consultants, consultants that “like” my facebook page, consultants connected to me on LinkedIn, and this year – consultants that sent in a testimonial for working with TrainingPros.

One new twist this year:  I told our clients that this was going on. I received several emails from our clients asking me to make sure that the TrainingPros consultant on their assignment was a winner.  What a great testament to you.

Our list of big winners:

  • Lyndon Silloway – won a gift card to Bahama Breeze
  • Richard Cox – won a gift card to The Home Depot
  • Mona Houston – won a gift card to BP
  • Tanya Pittman – won a gift card to Nordstrom’s
  • Maria Toth – won a gift card to The Cheesecake Factory

I’m open to any new ideas on how to show you how much we appreciate you. Please submit via email, facebook, phone call, or post a comment here.

For the curious, some of the great testimonials I received include:

“TrainingPros does the right thing… for their clients and their contractors. So I am truly gratified to be a part of a company that astonishes the competition.”

“They make me feel ‘special’ and not like just another Contractor. I have been absolutely spoiled by Training Pros, and I don’t want to use any other company!”

“I have worked with TraningPros for over 12 years now, and I can simply say that TrainingPros has provided me with some of the most rewarding contractual experiences throughout my career as an instructional designer.”

“I can personally say that TrainingPros maintains ongoing relationships with their consultants and will keep them working, which says a lot about TrainingPros as a company.”

“Steve Kapaun’s team comes from the learning space trenches meaning; they know the market, the customers and the finished product. That is the key to successful placements in the land of “Paper Tigers” that we find so prevalent in the hiring scenario these days.”

“I’ve contracted through all kinds of agencies for many years, and TrainingPros is the best. Others cut their contractors loose when the contract ends, they aren’t set set up to even try to hold onto talent. But my colleagues who work with TrainingPros tend to stay with TrainingPros, from one contract to another and another.”

“I have worked with Training Pros as a client, and now, as a talent resource. I can honestly say from both perspectives, ‘What a great team of professionals!’ “

“I can personally say that TrainingPros maintains ongoing relationships with their consultants and will keep them working, which says a lot about TrainingPros as a company.”

“I feel that they work hard for their Contractors, getting the best companies at the highest rate possible.”

“I have been working with TrainingPros for only a short time but their business philosophy is simple… they do the right thing.”

Congratulations to all our winners and thank you for the wonderful testimonials.

    Hi Leigh Anne,

I think this is a great way to acknowledge the Training Pros talent pool. I am on my first contract assignment with Training Pros and I am loving it! I could not have asked for a better job fit and the staff at Training Pros is always professional and helpful. After reading the comments of other consultants on your blog, I concur and look forward to a long and rewarding partnership!

  2. Hi Leagh Anne,

I agree with Darlene. This sounds like a great way to have some fun and acknowledge hard work. I, too, am on my first TrainingPros assignment and am grateful for the consideration and professionalism of the TrainingPros team and my client team. I look forward to meeting you soon.
