Champions of Learning for Employee Learning Week

Employee Learning Week (ELW) was celebrated this year from December 2 – 6, 2013.  Employee Learning Week is an awareness campaign highlighting the important connection between learning and achieving organizational results. ELW is promoted by ASTD nationally and in local chapters.  You can read more about Employee Learning Week here:

In the past I have volunteered to help promote this event throughout the Atlanta market and have enjoyed hearing the great ideas of other companies.

This year, TrainingPros was honored by the Greater Atlanta Chapter of ASTD as a “Champion of Learning”.  We were honored because of our annual Consultant Appreciation Month we have each June. This year we offered some complimentary learning events to our consultants to help them build their consulting skills.

I was so inspired by receiving this recognition that I volunteered to chair the event for 2014. So be prepared – I’ll be calling you in a few months to discuss Employee Learning Week at your organization. Next year – this could be hanging in your office!
